I'm having an issue with a workflow that is not being applied when a new user is generated. The work flow is supposed to generate a unique Account Name but this is not happening. I have done the following;
1- Created a Manually Managed set called Human Resource
I added a test account to the member of this group.
2- I have created a Workflow called Generate Unique AccountName
Set this to an Action workflow type
checked run on policy update
defined the workflow
3- Created a MPR called Human Resource can create/edit selected attributes of others
The type is request
Requester set us Human Resource
Operations are Create/modify a single-valued attribute
Grants permission is checked
Target before is All People
Target after is All People
Specific Attributes are checked - Address;City;Country/Region;Department;Description;Division;E-mail;Employee
End Date;;Employee ID;Employee Start Date;Employee
Status;Employee Type;First Name;;Job
Title;Last Name;Manager;Middle
Name;Mobile Phone;Resource ID;Resource
Type;Fax;Office Location;Office
Phone;Postal Code;Assistant;Account
Name
Under Policy workflow - I have checked off Generate Unique AccountName
I log into FIM portal as the test user who is part of the Human Resource set and create a new user goes through however there is no AccountName assigned to the user account. Maybe one of the FIM experts here can assist me on this matter.
