Hello,
I am using a fresh installation of FIM on a virtual server. I am logged in as administrator. When I open the synchronization service manager, I get this error (summarized):
Cannot connect to synchronization service. (Could be because service is not started or insufficient permissions)
However, the synchronization service is started. Also, there is no error in the event log!
I tried assigning all FIM security group memberships to myself but I still get the same error.
One clue could be that I had to start the service manually. It didn't start on its own after startup but still I found no errors.
Can someone please tell me how to open the synchronization service manager? Thank you very much.
