FIM Portal for Non-Employees

Hello All,

I have a requirement to build a specific portal to manage non-employees.  We have some pretty basic fields (lastname, firstname, employee-id, start-date, end-date, status, manager) that should only be displayed on.   We do want to remove these fields from the normal user portal.

How easy is this to do?  Can this be done directly in FIM or needs to be done in something else?

Can you point me to some information that may shed some light on how to do something like this.
