Just sharing an oddity I found with FIM password reset during a test.
Changed a QA setting (making the user answer only 2 of the 3 questions displayed at password reset) and noticed the difference in message provided by FIM windows login password reset and browser(portal) password reset.
The message provided in the password reset thru the browser was in line with my expectation, FIM mentions to the user about the option of answering just 2 questions of the following 3 questions, While windows (GINA) password reset does not provide any such information to the user.
why does that happen?
I do see questions getting updated thru windows login but not the message
