Okay, who's the wise guy?
I just upgraded my dev environment to FIM 2010 R2 SP1 from FIM 2010 and thought this would be a great time to clear out the objects in my FIM Portal, so that's just what I did.. until I went to clear out the EREs for the deleted groups/users and found that
the DeleteOrphanedRulesByType Stored Procedure is not in FIM 2010 R2 SP1.
Looks like my options are either to use Bob's pre-4.0.3594.2 solution or use [debug].[PurgeObjectsOfType] (I'm happy to remove ALL EREs since it's a dev environment.
Of course, I gave [debug].[PurgeObjectsOfType] and it seems to have caused a stopped-server error on the FIM MA, so maybe that's not the way to go!
Can anyone from MS comment on why this Stored Proc has been removed, and whether I can expect it to come back?
